How To Clean A Big Long Bathmat

Does your cutting mat take lint from fabric stuck in it? I've been rotary cutting, batting making big sheets from my scraps and subsequently, it looked like this.

I was near to make clean the mess off the mat, and it occurred to me that yous might like to see how I practice it.

How To Clean And Care For A Self-Healing Cut Mat

Meet your cutting mat's new best friend - a unproblematic safe (or eraser for my American readers!).

I'm using a Staedtler Plastic rubber, like those bachelor from Amazon (affiliate link).

I keep the side of the rubber/eraser apartment on the cut mat, not that this matters. Information technology just means I'k working a larger area at whatsoever time, and I move information technology over the mat's surface, applying a small amount of pressure.

The attached fluff starts to collect equally I work.

And finally, I'm left with a collected piece of fluff and a pile of particles from the rubber/eraser, which I wipe away.

Less than two minutes from starting, my mat looks new again.

My mat is giant and won't fit in my tub either; I soak one-half then plough information technology and soak the other one-half. Assist, My Cutting Mat's Warped!
